According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry in April, 2006 were:

  1. North Carolina: 4,100
  2. Ohio: 3,800
  3. Connecticut: 3,400

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry in April, 2006 were:

  1. California: -4,400
  2. Oklahoma: -1,500
  3. Florida: -1,400
