According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2006:

  1. Michigan: 5,900
  2. Texas: 1,500
  3. Missouri: 1,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2006:

  1. Georgia: -3,300
  2. Indiana: -2,600
  3. Arizona: -2,500
