According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2007:

  1. Mississippi: 4,500
  2. Kentucky: 2,600
  3. Georgia: 1,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2007:

  1. California: -10,100
  2. North Carolina: -4,500
  3. Ohio: -3,300
