According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2007:

  1. Michigan: 24,700
  2. Ohio: 9,300
  3. Missouri: 3,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2007:

  1. California: -1,400
  2. Idaho: -1,100
  3. Florida: -1,000
