According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2007:

  1. Indiana: 1,900
  2. Illinois: 1,300
  3. Kansas: 1,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2007:

  1. Mississippi: -5,100
  2. Kentucky: -3,100
  3. Michigan: -1,800
