According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2008:

  1. Kentucky: 1,300
  2. Delaware: 800
  3. Maine: 300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2008:

  1. California: -9,300
  2. Ohio: -8,500
  3. Indiana: -5,800
