According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2010:

  1. Kentucky: 3,900
  2. Ohio: 3,100
  3. Indiana: 2,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2010:

  1. Minnesota: -800
  2. Mississippi: -700
  3. Florida: -700
