According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2010:

  1. Georgia: 1,600
  2. North Carolina: 1,600
  3. California: 1,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2010:

  1. Michigan: -3,800
  2. Kentucky: -3,200
  3. New York: -2,000
