According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2010:

  1. Ohio: 4,600
  2. Michigan: 4,200
  3. California: 3,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2010:

  1. Louisiana: -400
  2. Nevada: -100
  3. Mississippi: 0
