According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2010:

  1. Michigan: 10,600
  2. Kentucky: 1,000
  3. New York: 900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2010:

  1. California: -3,000
  2. Minnesota: -1,100
  3. Massachusetts: -1,000
