According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2011:

  1. Indiana: 4,600
  2. Michigan: 2,400
  3. California: 1,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2011:

  1. Minnesota: -400
  2. Idaho: -200
  3. Arkansas: -200
