According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2012:

  1. Michigan: 2,600
  2. Indiana: 2,400
  3. Alabama: 1,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2012:

  1. Minnesota: -1,200
  2. Kansas: -500
  3. Iowa: -500
