According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2012:

  1. California: 1,600
  2. Illinois: 1,200
  3. Iowa: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2012:

  1. Ohio: -4,800
  2. New York: -1,900
  3. Michigan: -1,100
