According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2013:

  1. Michigan: 2,200
  2. Alabama: 1,300
  3. Ohio: 1,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2013:

  1. Connecticut: -300
  2. New Mexico: -100
  3. New Hampshire: -100
