According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2013:

  1. Michigan: 1,400
  2. Kentucky: 600
  3. Florida: 400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2013:

  1. California: -800
  2. Connecticut: -600
  3. Ohio: -500
