According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2014:

  1. Louisiana: 800
  2. Mississippi: 600
  3. Georgia: 200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2014:

  1. California: -6,200
  2. Michigan: -4,800
  3. New York: -4,200
