According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2014:

  1. Indiana: 2,300
  2. California: 1,700
  3. Illinois: 1,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2014:

  1. Kansas: -800
  2. Connecticut: -300
  3. Maryland: -200
