According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2014:

  1. Michigan: 7,000
  2. Ohio: 3,600
  3. California: 3,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2014:

  1. Connecticut: -700
  2. Kansas: -300
  3. Mississippi: -200
