According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2016:

  1. Michigan: 6,300
  2. Alabama: 800
  3. Kentucky: 800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2016:

  1. Oklahoma: -1,400
  2. Illinois: -1,400
  3. California: -1,200
