According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2016:

  1. Michigan: 1,500
  2. Georgia: 700
  3. Kansas: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2016:

  1. Illinois: -1,200
  2. California: -1,100
  3. Louisiana: -800
