According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2016:

  1. Indiana: 2,200
  2. California: 2,100
  3. Georgia: 1,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2016:

  1. Minnesota: -1,100
  2. North Dakota: -400
  3. Maine: -300
