According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry in July, 2020 were:

  1. Michigan: 6,000
  2. Kansas: 2,500
  3. Alabama: 1,200

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry in July, 2020 were:

  1. Maine: -3,700
  2. Illinois: -2,800
  3. Minnesota: -1,600
