According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2021:

  1. Michigan: 5,400
  2. California: 1,300
  3. Minnesota: 1,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2021:

  1. Missouri: -1,800
  2. Illinois: -1,500
  3. Oklahoma: -400
