According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2022:

  1. California: 4,600
  2. Kentucky: 3,800
  3. Ohio: 2,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2022:

  1. Michigan: -4,300
  2. North Carolina: -200
  3. Indiana: -200
