According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry in July, 2022 were:

  1. California: 4,700
  2. Illinois: 4,200
  3. Ohio: 3,000

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry in July, 2022 were:

  1. Michigan: -5,900
  2. Mississippi: -1,400
  3. Kentucky: -500
