According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2002:

  1. New York: 7,400
  2. District of Columbia: 2,300
  3. California: 2,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2002:

  1. Louisiana: -1,100
  2. Connecticut: -900
