According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2002:

  1. California: 2,900
  2. New Jersey: 1,300
  3. Minnesota: 700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2002:

  1. Pennsylvania: -11,800
  2. Massachusetts: -8,500
