According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2004:

  1. New York: 4,900
  2. California: 4,600
  3. Pennsylvania: 1,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2004:

  1. Connecticut: -2,100
  2. Alabama: -1,100
