According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2006:

  1. Florida: 5,300
  2. Texas: 4,600
  3. Arizona: 3,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2006:

  1. New York: -5,000
  2. Pennsylvania: -2,200
  3. Massachusetts: -2,100
