According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2008:

  1. California: 5,100
  2. Connecticut: 2,700
  3. New York: 2,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2008:

  1. Florida: -2,400
  2. Arkansas: -1,300
  3. Ohio: -500
