According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2008:

  1. New York: 27,700
  2. California: 14,200
  3. Massachusetts: 12,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2008:

  1. North Carolina: -600
