According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2002:

  1. Georgia: 1,300
  2. Utah: 800
  3. Missouri: 700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2002:

  1. Colorado: -1,100
  2. District of Columbia: -1,000
  3. Ohio: -1,000
