According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2007:

  1. California: 1,500
  2. Georgia: 700
  3. Florida: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2007:

  1. Missouri: -300
  2. Oklahoma: -200
  3. Louisiana: -200
