According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:

  1. Florida: 200
  2. Illinois: 100
  3. Iowa: 100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:

  1. Missouri: -900
  2. California: -900
  3. New Mexico: -800
