According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2014:

  1. Montana: 1,100
  2. District of Columbia: 1,100
  3. Idaho: 800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2014:

  1. Kentucky: -300
  2. Missouri: -200
  3. Georgia: -100
