According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2017:

  1. California: 1,500
  2. Idaho: 1,100
  3. Montana: 1,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2017:

  1. Missouri: -200
  2. Kentucky: -200
  3. Georgia: -100
