According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2020:

  1. Florida: 1,300
  2. Oklahoma: 1,100
  3. Georgia: 1,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2020:

  1. Maryland: -700
  2. District of Columbia: -600
  3. California: -200
