According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2022:

  1. Florida: 900
  2. District of Columbia: 900
  3. Georgia: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2022:

  1. Montana: -400
  2. Idaho: -300
  3. Arizona: -200
