According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2003:

  1. New York: 3,300
  2. California: 2,800
  3. Illinois: 2,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2003:

  1. Utah: -400
