According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2016:

  1. California: 3,000
  2. Arizona: 1,800
  3. Ohio: 1,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2016:

  1. New York: -3,300
  2. Kentucky: -200
  3. Indiana: -200
