According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2016:

  1. New York: 3,900
  2. Florida: 2,400
  3. California: 1,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2016:

  1. Georgia: -200
