According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2016:

  1. New York: 1,300
  2. Michigan: 1,100
  3. Georgia: 900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2016:

  1. Illinois: -200
