According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2016:

  1. Florida: 600
  2. Arizona: 500
  3. Louisiana: 400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2016:

  1. New York: -10,300
  2. California: -2,900
  3. Massachusetts: -2,800
