According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2018:

  1. Illinois: 2,300
  2. Arizona: 900
  3. Michigan: 700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2018:

  1. New York: -2,200
  2. California: -2,000
  3. Connecticut: -600
