According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2018:

  1. New York: 4,800
  2. Illinois: 2,200
  3. Minnesota: 900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2018:

  1. Connecticut: -200
  2. Oklahoma: -100
  3. New Hampshire: -100
