According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2020:

  1. Illinois: 1,500
  2. New York: 1,500
  3. Massachusetts: 1,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Finance and Insurance industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2020:

  1. Nebraska: -300
  2. Louisiana: -300
  3. District of Columbia: -100
