According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. Michigan: 1,500
  2. South Carolina: 1,400
  3. Arizona: 1,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. Massachusetts: -1,500
  2. Florida: -1,500
  3. Ohio: -1,100
