According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2002:

  1. California: 5,400
  2. Florida: 2,200
  3. Arizona: 1,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2002:

  1. Massachusetts: -1,300
  2. New Jersey: -1,200
  3. Georgia: -700
