According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2002:

  1. Oregon: 2,000
  2. Minnesota: 1,900
  3. New York: 1,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2002:

  1. California: -1,200
  2. Tennessee: -600
  3. Illinois: -500
