According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2002:

  1. California: 2,100
  2. Georgia: 1,700
  3. Arizona: 1,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2002:

  1. Pennsylvania: -2,000
  2. New Jersey: -1,600
